We live in a very visual world where high-quality pictures are a must if you want to become successful on your blog. Pinterest is my number one traffic source by far, and the main reason I’ve been able to grow my blog is through visually pleasing pictures. If you’re using bad quality photos, people most likely are going to click right out of your blog as soon as they get there. Some won’t even click on your page to begin with.

I think there’s a misconception on stock photos. People think they’re bad, awkward, and outdated. And while that may be the case for some stock photos, there are tons out there that are high quality.

There are two reasons main I use stock photos for the majority of my blog pictures: they save me time, and they save me money.

I think we can all agree that we have a blog because we wish other people would read it. If you’re just starting out, it might not seem possible. I’m a perfect example of this. Even though everyone has a mental health, mental health blogs aren’t the most popular among blogging niches. Finance, food, and parenting blogs are much more popular, and they tend to get the most pageviews.
