There are two types of people: those who want to make money blogging and those who get angry just thinking about it. I say why not? Why not make money from your blog with very little effort?
I love being able to get paid for something I’m incredibly passionate about. Something I truly love. The best part about earning money from your blog is you get to get paid for the work you do once.
Here are 10 super easy ways I earn money from my blog:
The best way to make money through blogging is to have a WordPress, self-hosted blog. Making money on any free blogging platforms, such as Blogger, is very difficult. Most companies don’t view them as professional as self-hosted WordPress blogs. In fact, most of the networks on this list only work if you’re self-hosted and own your domain.
Why I’ve chosen to use Bluehost for the past two years:
- It’s extremely affordable by starting at $3.75 per month
- WordPress through Bluehost is free (HUGE savings!)
- You’ll get a free blog domain
- You’ll look more professional
- You get to earn money from your blog
I know some people aren’t a big fan of having ads on their blog, but using an ad network is a great way to make passive income as a blogger. They’re also very to setup and put on your website. Pretty much all you have to do is copy and paste where you want the ads to display.
Adsense is probably the most well-known ad network on this list. You can choose ads from all different sizes and whether you want text or image ads. You get to display up to 3 ads on your blog, and you can also customize colors and the font. Payment is given when you reach the $100 threshold.
Media.net is the ad network powered by Yahoo! and Bing. These ads look like little colored keyword blocks, which can be very easily customized. Media.net allows up to 3 ads on your blog. The minimum threshold is $100.
I recently started to use Infolinks, and I’ve already seen a big improvement in how much money I earn. There are so many different ad types, so you can find what works best for your blog. Payment minimum is $50.
Chitika‘s ads look a lot like Adsense’s. You can use them in conjunction with each other, and you can also set up three ads on your blog. You’ll get paid when you hit the $50 threshold.
I love earning money through affiliate networks, because you only have to do work once. The only thing you have to do is link to a product or a service. Then you get to earn a commission and watch your earnings grow.
ShareASale was the first affiliate network I ever joined. They have a huge variety of offers, and the application process is very simple. Minimum payment is $50.
FlexOffers is one of the leading affiliate networks. They have a huge big variety of over 10,000 affiliate programs. Payment starts at $50.
• AMAZON ASSOCIATES
I love being able to earn a commission through Amazon Associates. The best part is the reader who clicks on your link doesn’t even have to buy what you recommended, and you’ll still get a commission. Amazon Associates in only available in certain states and countries.
You’ll get paid through MagicLinks when your reader purchases an item you recommended. You might earn when they simply click on your link. Your balance must reach a minimum of $50 before payment will be issued.
VigLink is easy super easy to join. You can simply insert the code on your site & make the normal looking outgoing links converted to affiliate links. Payout starts at $10.
I don’t have much experience with sponsored posts, but I do know that they can definitely help you earn money from your blog. You get to write about something you believe in and get paid.
Activate is through Bloglovin. You can find campaigns from brands who will pay you to write a blog post, as well as posting on Instagram, Twitter and YouTube. You’ll only see campaigns that fit your profile.
