I’m a huge introvert, but I still suffer with chronic feelings of loneliness. These feelings arise from my daily struggles with abandonment and my separation anxiety.

My mom filed for divorce when I was 22, and I’ve seen every ugly imaginable. It was an awful, awful experience, and we’re still dealing with the aftereffects.

Looking back at my parents’ marriage, both my parents failed to make their marriage work. There was a lot of distance and absolutely no communication. They gave up on their love a long time ago.

I refuse to go down the same path of little effort. I choose to do every thing I can to keep my love thriving.

September was a pretty good month for me both personally and for my blog. My blog stats are up, and I’m constantly researching ways to increase my traffic and income. It feels so good that all my hard work and dedication is finally showing proof.

I also celebrated my 4 year anniversary with my boyfriend by taking a week-long trip to Tennessee. We went to Dollywood (one of my favorite theme parks ever), ate vegan food, and played old-school Sega. Plus, I had a week off work, which I can’t complain about.
