During my days filled with intense anxiety and depression, the number one thing I turn to is YouTube.
The videos calm me down almost instantly and make me feel less alone.
YouTube truly is a form of self-care for me.

Julia Kristina Counselling is an incredible channel for all things mental wellness.
If you want to feel like you’re talking with a friend, Julia’s your girl.
She is incredibly relatable, and she doesn’t talk down to you in the slightest.
2. THE ANXIETY GUY
On The Anxiety Guy’s channel, you’ll find extremely helpful mental health and wellness advice targeted towards people with anxiety.
It’s an awesome channel for people who are confused and frustrated on what to do about their fears, panic, and rising anxiety levels.
3. SARAH HAWKINSON
Sarah Hawkinson was one of the first YouTubers I’ve ever watched.
Over the years, she’s become a big mental health advocate in the YouTube community.
Not only does she talk only about her Seasonal Affective Disorder, dental phobia, and driving phobia, she addresses issues with stigmas with mental health in society.
She’s suffered from an eating disorder for years and has first-hand experience with other mental illnesses. She even has an awesome video about her experience with anti-depressants.

Like Kristen’s channel primarily focuses on mental health and recovery support.

All her videos are super relatable, and she’s so genuine and real.
