1. WATCH CLEANING VIDEOS
Cleaning, organizing, and declutter videos are the fastest ways for me to find motivation.
In fact, watching them sparked my interest in cleanliness and organization.
I feel so much better in a calm and serene environment than I do in a cluttered space.
You can find countless of videos on YouTube.
Some of my favorites are Beauty and the Beastons and Love Meg.

2. LISTEN TO A PODCAST
I love hearing podcasts that pump me up!
That means podcasts that share stories of the real gritty bits of life and how to rise above them.
Hearing people overcome hardships is one of the best motivators for me.

4. BRAIN DUMP
Sometimes, you just need to write it all out.
Brain dump and write every thought in your head that comes up down.
Forget about grammar and don’t worry about spelling. Just write.
Do you feel sad? Write it down.
Do you feel angry? Write about it.
Do you feel confused and frustrated that you have no motivation? Write about that.
Don’t stop writing until you feel like you got everything out.
5. USE ESSENTIAL OILS
When I started to incorporate essential oils into my everyday routine, I started to feel more grounded, more confident, and more relaxed.
Different essential oils have different benefits.
Citrus oils, like lemon and lime, are incredible at invoking feelings of happiness and productivity.
Peppermint, rosemary, and pine needle essential oils are fantastic at enlivening the senses.
Amazing Blends for Mental Clarity:
1. 3 drops peppermint, 3 drops rosemary, 3 drops pine needle
2. 4 drops lemon, 3 drops tea tree, 3 drops peppermint, 3 drops lime
3. 3 drops sweet orange, 3 drops peppermint, 3 drops lemon
I recommend Plant Therapy essential oils, because they’re high quality, vegan, and cruelty-free!

6. HEAR POSITIVE AFFIRMATIONS
I love me some positive self-talk.
Positive affirmations are super important to say when you’re feeling unmotivated, because they help boost your confidence and outlook on your life.
They might seem cheesy, and maybe even a bit delusional at first, but filling your head with positive mantras is what your brain needs to hear.
The more you practice self-love, confidence, and positivity, the more natural it seems. The more natural it seems, the more you’ll start to believe how worth it you are!

7. GET FRESH AIR
Open the windows. Sit in your backyard or on your front porch. Anywhere that you can soak up the energy of Mother Earth.
Nature is one of the best motivations out there.
It’s soothing. It’s refreshing. And it’s hella grounding.
If I stay inside too long, I notice that I start to feel foggy and unmotivated.
That’s why I try to make an effort to spend a little bit of time outside each and every day, even if it’s only for a couple of minutes.
8. PLAY UPBEAT MUSIC
Getting immersed in music is one of the quickest ways to make me feel alive and fulfilled.
Blast some upbeat music, such as early 2000s pop or dance music of today.
Can you think of any songs that you just can’t help but dance to?
Put them on and feel yourself get lost in the instruments, the lyrics, and the vibe.
Once you feel alive within the music, you just might feel more excited to take on the day.

9. SET A TIMER
Is there a very important task you need to complete soon? Why not set a timer?
Be realistic. Don’t give yourself too much time that you slack off.
But don’t give yourself too little that you become frantic and stressed.
When the timer is up and you complete the job, reward yourself with something, such as a new episode of that show you’ve been dying to watch.
10. TRY SOMETHING NEW AND FUN
Sometimes, a lack of motivation can stem from the mundane.
Doing the same thing every day can put your brain on autopilot.
Trying something new could be just what the doctor ordered.
Some exciting activities to try:
1. Going to an arcade
2. Singing karaoke
3. Going to an amusement park
Doing something that makes you feel alive will help you see through the fog.
Plus, life is meant to be lived. You’re not just meant to survive it.
