14 Meditation Room Supplies
If you find esoteric knowledge intriguing, then you need Gaia — which is like a metaphysical Netflix.
I’ve been subscribed for a year now, as there’s always something incredibly inspirational to dive into.
Gaia is filled with 100s of meditations, as well as all things spiritual, including tarot, astrology, aliens, and ancient history.
What’s available on Gaia:
- Movies and Shows
Most meditations are a quick 10-15 minutes long, so it’s easy to add meditation into your daily life.
You can watch on iOS, Android, Chromecast, Roku, and Amazon FireTV.
2. YOGA DOWNLOAD
Yoga and meditating often go hand-in-hand, and I’m so grateful Yoga Download exists!
Not only are there videos that combine yoga and meditating, but there are also videos that focus solely on breathwork.
The videos range from a quick three minutes all the way to over an hour long.
I typically start my days with a 15-minute grounding video.
There is a countless selection of free yoga classes, from beginner all the way to advanced (as well as different lengths).
The best part is you can do yoga and meditate in the comfort of your own home!
3. ESSENTIAL OILS
When it comes to meditating, I love adding tools to heighten my practice.
One way I do this is by using some essential oils and putting them into my diffuser.
When I started to incorporate them into my meditation practice, I started to feel more grounded, more relaxed, and more spiritual.
Essential Oils for Meditating
⭐ Mood Lifting: 3 drops sweet orange, 3 drops lemon, 3 drops lime, 3 drops grapefruit
⭐ Uplifting: 4 drops lemon, 3 drops tea tree, 3 drops peppermint, 3 drops lime
⭐ Positivity: 3 drops eucalyptus, 3 drops bergamot, 3 drops tangerine
You can get started with essential oils with this 7 & 7 Essential Oil Set, which features 7 single oils and 7 synergies.
*While using essential oils, be sure to use them in a well-ventilated room and keep harmful ones away from pets and kids.
More on essential oils:
There’s such a calming energy to dim candlelight that can truly help set the mood.
I use these candles, as they are vegan and cruelty-free.
I’ve been a user of incense ever since I got a pack in a Goddess Provisions box.
These incense sticks come highly recommended!
6. INCENSE HOLDER
If you’re going to use incense, you’re going to need an incense holder!
They are a must for collecting the ash that comes off the burned incense.
This werewolf incense holder is so cute!
7. SINGING BOWL
A singing bowl can take your meditation routine to the next level.
They’re wonderful for meditating and creating a calm environment.
Different singing bowls correlate to different sound frequencies, which in turn targets different chakras.
All you have to do is tap the outside of the bowl with the mallet and circle it around until you hear the amazing, calming sound.
8. MEDITATION CUSHION
Okay, so you certainly don’t need a meditation cushion.
But I feel like having a designated spot where you frequently meditate can help you get into a meditative state much more easily.
This meditation cushion totally matches my personality.
I recommend getting one that fits your unique style and vibe, as there are countless options available!
I’ll either hold my crystals, put them in my pocket, or just have them somewhere near me.
Favorite Calming Crystals:
✨ Green Adventurine is a gentle and supportive crystal that’s used for prosperity.
✨ Amazonite is a crystal that boosts feelings of balance, stability, and inner peace.
✨ Rose Quartz has tender and loving vibrations that are especially useful for easing any problems dealing with emotions, confrontations, and relationships.

10. MALA BEADS
A mala is a string of 108 beads (usually made of crystals) used in meditation practice.
Each bead represents a repetition of a mantra that you use as a silent guide when you meditate.
When I’m trying to banish negativity, I love using black crystals in my meditation session.
11. ORACLE CARDS
Oracle cards are a self-exploration tool designed to help you tap into your inner soul and unconscious mind.
This means I love pulling out a daily oracle card, journaling about the messages I receive, and meditate on them.
They’re excellent for meditating on and uncovering areas of your life that need tending and improvement.
Oracle Decks for Meditating:
✨ Work Your Light is the first oracle deck I ever purchased. It includes 44 artistically done cards that help invoke the light in your life.
✨ Queen of the Moon is probably my most favorite oracle deck I have. The energy is strong, clear, and powerful.
✨ Conscious Spirit is a fantastic deck for figuring out which chakras are imbalanced, as well as connecting to your angels and spirit guides.
After I select my card of the day, I keep it out on my desk to be reminded of how I should practice self-care throughout my day.

12. A MEDITATION JOURNAL
Meditation: A Day and Night Reflection Journal is a fantastic way to keep track of your meditation practice.
You’ll be able to record your thought patterns, reflect on your feelings, and track how meditation affects your mood and life.
Being 90 days long, you’re going to want to purchase this a few times throughout the year!
I bought these chimes for my fiance back in 2016, and they are well worth the small investment!
The sounds are crisp and can help signify the beginning or end of your meditation practice.
